This is absolutely one of the most common questions in the first class!
It's because both means "Please" in Japanese.
This is me 10 years ago. I was young and unexperienced.
Always the first class of a course starts with the vocabs for classroom such as "Look at this, Read this, Listen to this" etc. in Japanese.
I had to teach the phrase "Mite kudasai = Look (at something) please" .
And I go "Kudasai is please".
After a while in the same class, I teach "Yoroshiku onegai shimasu. = Nice to meet you".
Then I go "Onegai shimasu is kinda please as well".
Of course my students at that time were so confused and started asking me a lot of questions.
If you have the same question right now, I think this video is useful.
But if I can choose the person who I want to show this video, it's absolutely me 10 years ago😂
☆Video contents
