This video quickly covers the process I follow for making a bow out of any white wood. For example, Hickory, Maple, Oak, and Ash to name a few. For best performance, make sure that the bow is heat treated using a heat gun or carefully with an open flame. You are not trying to burn the bow, just lightly toast it like a marshmallow.
