This is a brief excerpt from an interview shown on British TV recorded in 1984 but it aired I believe in 1985, I bought this from a DVD of various videos and interviews ( I believe it was created in the UK)
The interviewer is Paul Gambaccini and the program I believe was called The Other Side of the Tracks.
I uploaded this interview from a DVD I bought to honour the memory to Benjamin Orr and Ric Ocasek and to keep their legacy and the legacy of The Cars alive.
Because the purpose is to non-commercially share the legacy of Benjamin and The Cars, this video is being uploaded under the terms of Fair Use. No copyright infringement intended.
It shows that either the interviewer decided to focus on Ric and did not encourage Benjamin to speak much or perhaps Benjamin indicated that he would not talk much, but I wanted to share this since a lot of fans commented on how painful it was to watch the final interview of The Cars with Benjamin and show something that perhaps would make you all smile and think of better times.
