Just a few days ago, hbomberguy released a 3-hour, 51-minute about plagiarism on YouTube. Though the video was largely targeted at James Somerton, he also had time to draw attention to Iiluminaughtii, Internet Historian, Cinemassacre/James Rolfe, Filip Miucin and a few others.
Overall, I thought the video was great and handled the topic of plagiarism very well, including some excellent presentation of evidence. But that doesn't mean that there aren't a few points that I'd like to address and possibly correct or expand on.
So that's what I'm doing here, talking about hbomberguy's video and noting a few things that my 18 years in the field have taught me...
