This video will present statistics on which types of doctors pay out the most malpractice claims; which specialties have the highest risk rates; and which doctors pay the most for each malpractice claim.

What Studies on Malpractice Show

One-third of malpractice claims that result in death or disability can be traced to inaccurate or delayed diagnosis. About three-quarters of these misdiagnosis cases can be traced to diagnostic errors involving cancer, vascular events, and infection.
