The place that was chosen to Rockhound was a private mine in Wagholi, Pune (Maharashtra), where there is an abundance of minerals. The minerals that are mostly found in this area are Stillbite, Cavansite & Apophyllite.
Stillbite being specific is the highest concentrated mineral found in these mines. Cavansite being the most rare & one of the most beautiful crystals is also found in these mines.
Specimens of Pink & Green Apophyllite have also been discovered from these mines.
