Sarah Funk chats with the founder of Soapology about how he turned an idea into a successful Manhattan storefront — and continuing to succeed despite COVID-19 closures. Brought to you by GoDaddy. [ Ссылка ].
Inspired by an apothecary, artist-at-heart Oren Lavi turned his love for cooking into creating a new kind of recipe: soap. After launching Soapology, he became a leading trendsetter in the beauty industry who’s been successfully selling handcrafted natural and organic skin care products in NYC and beyond. The storefront reaped instant success by turning walk-in visitors into loyal customers by simply allowing them to test the quality and heavenly scents of the available products. Although he’s expanded from making these soapy items out of his home into a factory, Oren maintains the freshness and quality of his handmade soap and scrub products by sticking to small batch production and exact ingredients. Due to COVID-19, he had to close up his Manhattan storefront but discovered the importance of an online presence as his online store has boomed in sales.
