While reinserting an oven door, the hinge flipped into the closed position. I feared forcing the hinge open and could not find any videos showing how to unfreeze the hinge which was in the "closed" position. At first I thought it worked in a fashion similar to a kitchen cabinet: where a reset pin releases the spring. However, it's simpler than that and doesn't require disassembly.
