My husband and I have lived on $500 a month. Now we live on $700 a month. While it's possible, there are many things we don't do or cannot do. To be honest, we don't want to live on this income forever. We know it is only temporary.
And although this is the leash amount of money I have ever had in my entire life, it is the most money my husband has ever had. So for us to have so much money so fast would probably not be wise. People who win the lottery blow it all within the first year of winning because they don't know how to manage it.
So we trust God and his timing for our lives. We have learned a lot over the past 3 years of our marriage. We are growing and learning constantly here in the Dominican Republic.
