Polar Oh1 Plus Overview
The Polar OH1+ is an arm-hand optical heart rate monitor that you can use with every sport, especially swimming, and almost any app and sports watch using ANT+ and BLE. You can clip this heart rate monitor to your swimming goggles to monitor your heart rate from your temple and you can also wear it on your arm. This OHR monitor can send real-time HR data to other devices like your sports watch or training app like Strava.

Depending on your receiving device, you might have to first pair the OH1+. This device can store up to 200 hours of training data which you can later upload to the Polar Flow app for analyses. However, you’ll need to switch the device to the standalone mode to record by pressing the switch twice after turning it on. Since there's no click or sign that the two presses have been registered, the only way to tell is by looking at the LEDs on the opposite side of the switch. the OH1+ is waterproof and it has superior battery life.
