Tao Wei arrived in Tanzania as part of medical team visiting the country. She is now in charge of the OBGYN department at Mnazi Mmoja hospital in Zanzibar. With more than 20 or 30 surgeries performed at the Hospital each day in a place where the average doctor patient ratio is 1:8,500, Tao has managed to bond with locals around that area.
