Solver will allow you to vary the values in up to 200 cells whereas Goal Seek only allows you to vary the value in one cell
Solver is a Microsoft Excel add-in program you can use for what-if analysis. Use Solver to find an optimal (maximum or minimum) value for a formula in one cell — called the objective cell — subject to constraints, or limits, on the values of other formula cells on a worksheet.
Solver is an optional add-in designed to do more complex “what-if” calculations using different solving methods.
How to Add Solver to Excel
Open Microsoft Excel.
Go to the File menu, select Options.
In the Excel Options dialog, click Add-ins from the left menu.
Look down to the bottom right side for a field called Manage:
Select Excel Add-ins from the drop-down list.
Click the Go button.
From the Add-ins dialog, check the box for Solver Add-in.
Click OK.
