READ ALONG TO PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH: So in English, a best case scenario is when you expect the best possible outcome in a situation. Let's imagine that you are driving to work and you are in a traffic jam. The best case scenario is that you'll probably be in the traffic jam for an hour, and you'll probably be about one hour late for work. So the best case scenario is what you think is the most positive outcome you can think of in a situation that you are in. So the best case scenario if you are in a traffic jam is you might be a little bit late for work. Maybe you'll be an hour late for work, but you will still get to work. So the best case scenario is that you will get to work. So a scenario is like an example or a situation that you are imagining. So if I imagine I'm in a traffic jam, the best case scenario is that I will be maybe an hour late for work.
And we have the opposite, as well. We have the worst case scenario. So in this situation, if I was in a traffic jam, the worst case scenario would be that the traffic jam lasts for a very, very long time and I don't make it to work at all that day. So whenever you look at a possible future situation, there's usually a best case scenario, sorry, it's really windy out here today. That's why I'm standing in the barn. And there is a worst case scenario. So usually, we're hoping for the best case scenario in any situation. Anyways, Bob the Canadian, here. It's Friday. I hope you have a good weekend and I'll see you on Monday in the next video.
