A two-storey building collapsed on the beach in Palma de Mallorca on Thursday, killing at least four people and injuring 16 in the tourism hot spot in Spain’s Balearic Islands, the national police said.
Firefighters and police forces were at the scene, emergency services said on Twitter/X, adding that some psychologists had been called in.
The four people killed in the collapse were two German tourists, a Senegalese man and a Spanish woman, police said on Friday.
“The victims are two German women aged 20 and 30, a 23-year-old Spanish employee and a 44-year-old Senegalese man,” said a police spokesman.
