Hue Lights are great, however switching them on and off at the wall can be a bit of a problem. They need a constant power supply, and using a standard light switch will kill the power to them and stop them working. You can use a Philips Hue Smart Wireless Dimmer mounted on to the wall and that is great - however guests to the home, or kids might just use the regular light switch and mess things up!
I've got a simple DIY solution that 'replaces' the light switch and provides a mounting for the Philips Hue Smart Wireless Dimmer instead. Because there is no real interaction with any live cables it should be fairly straightforward for DIYers.
Obviously if you're not comfortable doing this job - DON'T - seek professional advice.
