The Bradley has to face yet another IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle), and this time it's one that's an unusual mixture of the conventional and unorthodox.
The Mitsubishi Type 89 of the JGSDF is all-steel, isn't rated to swim, and has a layout typical of a Western Bloc IFV, but it also has a 35mm main gun, a Japan-exclusive ATGM system, and Ball Turrets instead of real Firing Ports (just like the Bradley).
Needless to say, it makes for an interesting comparison!
Finally, note that I has to guess at some of the stats for the Type 89. Finding information this detailed on it has proven frustrating.
