Here is hopefully a helpful video on showing the world how to update the s16. Berhinger has a cool product here and with the 2.2 update, you will have complete compatibility with all products in the x32 family.
I had a maddening time setting up the day before the show and my x32 just showed weird data on the channels my sd16 were routed too. It also said 10db pre.and post in the Gain section. This problem was due to the s16 not being updated and not playing nice with the more recent released sd16. (I love that thing).
I updated to s16 and all was well.
