How much do bikes change from one generation to another?
The Giant TCR Advanced SL 0 is Giant's flagship race bike, used by Team CCC and Greg Van Avermaet at WorldTour level. We compare it to the last iteration of the same bike, and look at how the design has changed.
The Giant TCR goes back further than this, though. It is a piece of cycling history – the first frame to introduce a 'compact geometry', with a sloped top tube that increased stiffness, improved aerodynamics and reduced weight.
Lining up against the likes of the Trek Émonda, Specialized S-Works Tarmac and Cannondale SuperSix, the latest TCR needs to boast some impressive numbers, and Giant doesn’t disappoint.
