In the winter of 2009, New Prairie Construction took on a challenging new project: renovating a 1961 Airstream Safari. We dubbed her Runaround Sue after at 1961 hit song.

Our goal was to create a beautiful, cozy, and practical space with as many environmentally-friendly features as possible. Solar panels, bamboo cabinets, reclaimed redwood countertops, and a composting toilet are just a few of Sue's features. If you're interested in buying her, give us a call at 217-344-5131.
