Radishes are not the most popular vegetables in the world; they don’t get much attention. This is a shame since they are used for health benefits for centuries in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Health benefits of Radish

Radishes belong to the cruciferous vegetable family, and they are generally known to help reduce the risk of cancer types, like breast, prostate, stomach, colorectal, kidney, and bladder cancers. They have bioactive compounds in them that reduce cell damage caused by cancer.
Radishes are rich in fibers that support healthy digestion, and they feed the good bacteria in your gut. Vegetables high in fiber and antioxidants, like radishes, can help you maintain healthy gut function.
Radishes are naturally antifungal, so they can kill certain types of fungus that cause vaginal infections or oral infections, like Candida.
And how to consume radishes? Well, they are mostly eaten raw. They can be a great addition to your salads and sandwiches.
