COVID-19: Message from the mayor to the population of Gaspé (May 4th, 2020, 3:30 p.m.)]
Today the mayor reviews the measures taken by the municipality, the MRC and the two orders of government.
He also returns to the reality of deconfinement, the reopening of certain businesses and services and the opening of barriers in the region. Obviously, it is the Directorate of Public Health that is the decision maker and we know that the government will closely monitor the situation in each of the regions.
We are also awaiting further information on day camps, playgrounds, sports and cultural activities and the possibility of a tourist season.
We also give you an update on our various municipal projects such as the harbor of Anse-au-Griffon and Michel-Pouliot Airport in Gaspé.
We respect the basic instructions (2M among all, hand washing, etc.).
We thank the population for their collaboration.
