C7 Chevy Corvette Z06 | 0-60 TIMES | With and Without LAUNCH CONTROL!

Hello everyone and welcome back to Brink of Speed! Today I will take you along for an ADRENALINE RUSH of 0-60 times in my 2015 C7 Corvette Z06!

I already checked out the times with the original set of Pilot Cup 2 tires that were on this car when I bought it but, now I have Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires on the Z06 and I want to see how these brand new grippy tires do.

With the old set of tires on the street, my best was a 3.6 second 0-60. Today I was able to beat that by 2 tenths of a second and get my time down to 3.4 seconds! This was achieved without using launch control, the fastest I was getting with that on was 3.5, so I turned it off, out it in sport mode and pedaled the throttle. I was able to get one more tenth out of it and get it to 3.4 seconds 0-60!

I'm actually very happy with this time, being that the temp outside was about 83 and I was on the street. I truly believe that at a prepped drag strip, I would easily get 3 seconds or less!
