Sandra J. Bravo encourages listeners to find their passion and use it to make a positive impact on the world. She shares her personal story of adopting a foster child and the importance of standing up for what you believe in, even when it's difficult. Bravo suggests taking a leap of faith and reaching out to others to work together to create change. She also highlights the power of small acts of kindness and how they can have a significant impact on someone's life. Sandra Bravo is an Associate Professor of Practice in Marketing at Babson College specializing in marketing strategy. In addition, she is the Founder and President of the 440K Project, Inc., a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to educate the nation about the plight of foster children and make fundamental and substantial changes to the foster care system for better outcomes for children. Sandy is the former founder and owner of Bravo Communications, a consulting company which provided strategic and communications marketing initiatives to small and medium sized organizations in the New England region. She holds an M.B.A. from Babson College and a B.A. from UMass Dartmouth. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
