Did you know that there are approximately 100 billion neurons in the adult brain?
This means there are approximately 100 billion possibilities in every human.
Now, if you and I can survive one of the toughest years in recent history, whether this be mentally, physically or financially, then there is clearly scope for us both to achieve even greater things in the year ahead.
For me, I'll predominantly be working from home with a few physical gigs planned at this stage, but I'll be largely switching much of my work into online courses for you to complete in your own time so that you can continue to grow and develop in your role.
Whilst we know that mental health is more important than it ever, we also know that some schools had prioritised the wellbeing of their staff long before the pandemic. Happy teachers create happier schools.
We have witnessed all of our schools working in difficult circumstances right now, and some have always had those challenges well before the pandemic, yet we also know one or two of you watching, are working in schools where you may not be performing to your best of your ability.
This could simply be that you are unloved or that your true potential has not yet been unlocked.
Whatever the reason, I hope 2021 is for you is to find a school that will look after your professional development as well as your mental health.
There were many schools doing this prior to the pandemic and some who have continued to do this during the most challenging of circumstances.
My wish is for you to find the school that will provide you with the conditions in which to grow as a professional.
