Ingredients
2 Granny smith apples, skinned, cored, diced
2 tsp of white sugar
½ tsp of ground cinnamon
1 tsp of unsalted butter
½ cup of water
2 sheets of puff pastry
Glaze
2 tsp of white sugar
2 tbsp of hot water
Preparation
1.Butter in a pan with medium heat, that add diced apples, sugar cinnamon. Once butter melted gradually add some water, boil apples until soften. Set aside to cool down.
2.Preheat the oven to 200°C
3.Cut two circles out of each piece of puff pastry, fold the circle in half and place them on lined baking tray and sprinkle with the prepared glaze and a little castor sugar.
4.Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
5.To assembly, split the pastry through the middle with sharp knife. Place 2 tbsp of apple mixture into the middle of pastry.
6.Pipe the whipped cream into the apple turnover. Place them on a plate and sprinkle with icing sugar. Enjoy!
