Well, it looks like the new chapter of Dead By Daylight, "A Lullaby for the Dark" may be coming out in August! It's coming to console too. And we'll also see the Charity Case DLC pack made available to both PC and console formats around the same time. Very exciting stuff is happening soon in the world of Dead By Daylight!

So, the prevailing theory right now is that the new killer called "The Jackal" and a licensed tie in to the upcoming horror movie "The Jackals" coming out September 1st. Here's the link to that trailer if you want to see if it stirs any connections in your mind.

Personally I don't believe it, and I think that the native American or skinwalker theories are the strongest so far, but the devs have said that pretty much every theory up to this point has been complete bunk so far, so what do I know?

Mathieu- "There are quite a lot of theories on what the next killer is."
Stephan- "There are a lot of them, do you have a favorite?"
Mathieu- "Oh they are so ridiculous."
Stephan- "I like Anubus. It's what I thought it was first, even though I know now."
Mathieu- "There at least 10 solid theories out there, none of them are even close. Which is great. I wanted to say or show more today, to fuel that theory machine that has been wrong every turn."

I was really hoping for a native American, or a skinwalker, but with that quote from the devs stream, it seems like none of our theories are even close. RIP, Bunnyman. :(

So they're toying with us, and we have no idea what the new chapter is about. LOL!
