Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) as well as Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) programs have failed Black women (African American women) miserably. Black women still experience microaggressions in workplace at higher rates than their non-Black counterparts. According to McKinsey & Company’s Women in the Workplace Annual 2021 Report, Black women were four times more likely to experience having their competency questioned than their peers.
In this video, I discuss 8 things that Black women can do if they are experience microaggressions on their jobs.
