for the GT2/GT3RS it is:
2400€ for a set of Michelin R
1300€ for a set of Michelin cup 2 n2
Durability on Monza before totally dead:
R: 40 laps
N2: 80 laps
Here is for the first time one comparison on an F1 track with exactly same condition/driver/car/day
Condition:
Monza track
Exterior temperature: 32°C
Track temp: 40°c
no wind
Grip level medium good
Car:
100% stock 991 GT2 RS Manthey racing LEFT SCREEN= CUP 2 R RIGHT SCREEN CUP2 N2
Both set new
Tire pressure on R: 2.2 FRONT 2.45 rear
Tire pressure on N2: 2.1 front 2.35 rear
LATPIME CUP 2 R: 1MIN55.40
LAPTIME CUP 2 N2: 1MIN57.45
Track length 5.8kms, so then around half a second gain per kilometer!
But i think it is a bit more than that...
On Monza the track is a lot about braking late and soon on gaz to get the good laptime, the R give a gain on braking and slow corner but not that much on fast corner, here on monza it is 2sec/ lap difference, but i think on a track with a lot of slow corner, the gain is higher, for my case on the nurburgring (also because the R give more confidence) the difference is around 12sec/ lap!!
