A softly spoken reading of the original Frozen fairytale, The Snow Queen. This relaxing bedtime story also features a few bits of light whispering, nature sounds, wind, and a bit of hair brushing.
This story took quite a few takes and edits – I didn't realize until later that I had mispronounced the name of one of the characters, Kay, and so I had to go in after I’d finished it to redo those lines… about fifty times! That is why some of the time my voice may not sound cohesive – I did my best to make it sound alright!
I do like this story quite a bit, because it’s long, and it has a happy ending, though there’s a bit of violence in some places (but not nearly as bad as other fairy tales we’ve read!). It’s very interesting that the Disney version of this story is so vastly different, but hearing the original story, you can definitely see the inspiration. I do very much hope you enjoy this softly spoken bedtime story, and you manage to have a wonderful and restful weekend!
