College Admissions, like it or not, is something of a game. But it’s not just a game for students trying to get in. It’s also a game for colleges trying to preserve their rank and reputation. As a result, some schools invoke policies in the admissions process to leverage themselves and gain advantages over other institutions, even if these policies hurt or inconvenience the students these universities serve. As a college consultant, over the years I’ve become aware of some of these policies through stories of my students. I’m going to share some of them with you in this video.
