This is a virtual workshop introducing the basics of Blender3D; the free and open-source 3D modelling, animation, and simulation tool comparable to 3DS Max or Maya from Autodesk, but without the price tag.
This will be Part 1 of a two part project demonstrating how to make a realistic fire hydrant for video games using Blender3D; Part 1 will introduce the basics of 3D modelling with a Sub-D workflow, Part 2 will cover UV Unwrapping and PBR texturing the model.
We will be using the latest release version of Blender available, version 2.82
