In early 2014, at the start of this documentary, there were 40 known Big Tuskers alive in Africa. Four years later, only 22 remain, signalling the most vital time in their conservation history. The numbers are plummeting at an alarming pace and the fate of Africa’s tuskers is in the hands of humans. It is our moral duty to protect these magnificent creatures from extinction if future generations are to have the privilege of witnessing these Big Tuskers in wild Africa.
