The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) is closely monitoring the impact of the coronavirus outbreak. People with chronic illnesses, such as pulmonary fibrosis (PF), may be at higher risk for developing complications from COVID-19. There are several everyday precautions that individuals can take to help avoid infection from the virus. These include staying home as much as possible, limiting contact with those outside your household and avoiding non-essential errands and visits. As telehealth options are expanding, PF patients should contact their doctors about routine visits and testing.
