Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) voiced his strong support for the "For the People Act" during a speech on the Senate floor Tuesday. Warnock blasted the GOP for not even wanting to debate the legislation on the floor.
Democrats want to be able to put up 50 votes to advance the bill, which would fall short of overcoming a 60-vote legislative filibuster but allow them to put a spotlight on Republican opposition.
