This session will seek to educate the audience about Black maternal health disparities and legislation that has been introduced to improve outcomes and reduce disparities, including the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act and 12-month postpartum Medicaid coverage. The session will also emphasize the importance of advancing these legislative priorities in Congress, and issue a call to action for attendees to advocate for the bills.
