Who would win in a fight between a Grizzly bear and a bull Moose? Watch to the end to find out :)
The "Grizzly Bear" is perhaps the most famous subspecies of Brown Bear. They live in North America and predominantly inhabit Alaska, Canada, and Yellowstone National Park. A typical male Grizzly Bear can weigh between 600-900 lbs, with interior Grizzlies (the ones that inhabit Yellowstone National Park) weighing closer to 600 lbs while the Brown Bears in the coastal region of Alaska weigh closer to 900 lbs. Grizzly Bears hunt fish, moose, elk, and just about whatever they can get ahold of. They are considered omnivorous, so Grizzly Bears do eat berries and vegetation on occasion.
The "Alaskan Moose" is the largest subspecies of Moose. They too also live in North America and predominantly inhabit Alaska, Canada, and Yellowstone National Park. So, Moose do encounter and fight Bears from time to time. Mature bull Alaskan Moose can achieve a weight of around 1,300 lbs by the fall season. Moose are herbivorous, so they eat the vegetation around them, but that doesn't mean they are pushovers. Alaskan Moose are huge and survive in the rugged Alaskan wilderness for a good reason. Bull Alaskan Moose has the largest set of antlers out of any animal on Earth. They are used as mating displays, and of course for brawling purposes. Moose also like to kick when they fight once their opponent gets in range.
