This tutorial demonstrates how to install and configure a 4G (LTE) modem Tibbit #45 on an LTPP3(G2) running Tibbo's Yocto-based distribution. Installing Tibbit #45 is effortless, and configuration takes just minutes, thanks to our Yocto distribution's built-in web interface.
Tibbit #45 implements a 4G (LTE) modem in the compact and easy-to-use Tibbit form factor. It features a "close-and-slide" locking mechanism for the micro-SIM card holder on the bottom. This Tibbit is available in three regional variants, each supporting 4G bands.
The LTPP3(G2) — or Size 3 Linux Tibbo Project PCB, Gen. 2 — is a Linux-based member of the Tibbo Project System (TPS). The board is powered by the Plus1 SoC, which features a quad-core 1GHz Cortex-A7, an A926 core, and an 8051 core, as well as Flexible Peripheral Multiplexing (PinMux).
