It’s clips like these that remind us just how similar orangutans are to humans. We share 97% of our DNA with orangutans, as well as a curiosity for the world around us. Just like us, orangutans feel a range of emotions, learn by imitation, and can even use tools!

Last month, through the combined efforts of the BKSDA, TNBBBR, and with YIARI's support, Budi was successfully released into a protected national park where he can freely explore and satisfy his natural curiosity.
