The Hisense H8G is a very good 4k tv at a budget-friendly price. This TV replaces the H8F from last year with a few changes.
The Hisense H8G delivers an impressive SDR Peak Brightness and has very good input lag and response time for anyone who likes gaming or watching sports. Unfortunately, there are a few areas where it’s slightly lacking in comparison to last year’s model. Most notable is the black uniformity, which is quite a big step down from the H8F. Like pretty much all displays that use a VA panel, the viewing angle is a little disappointing and quite a bit of degradation can be seen.
