Today we take a look at some Sears, Roebuck and CO. 22s that are still very well preserved after 88 years. Obviously, the box is not air-tight but because the rounds were treated with wax, the lead was "hermetically sealed" to prevent oxidation. Sears also contracted with Western Cartridge co, UMC, and Winchester over the decades. The printing on this box might have been low-quality, but the rounds inside were made with high standards. Not bad for something manufactured during the Depression.
