Chicken Roll Recipe
Chicken
Chopped onion
Chopped garlic
Eggs
Green onion
White pepper
Chicken powder
Salt
Sugar
All purpose flour
Rice flour
Procedure:
• In a pot bring water to boil and add salt and chopped garlic in it then add chicken in it. Let the chicken boil.
• To make batter for wrapper: take a bowl then combine the all purpose flour, salt, oil and egg. Gradually add water whisk them to make a smooth texture. When its done heat up non stick pan and make it thin. Cook it with low heat. When the edge of the skin is dry and you can peel off easily, it means its cooked. Set aside.
• To make batter for dipping: Take a bowl then combine the all purpose flour, rice flour, salt, chicken powder, white pepper and eggs. Gradually add water whisk them to make a smooth texture. Set aside.
• To make filling: In a pot heat 3 tablespoons of oil then add chopped garlic and chopped onion in it. Saute until fragrant.
• Add shredded chicken in it.
• Then add salt, sugar, white pepper, chicken powder and green onions in it. Mix well.
• To make roll: take one roll wrapper then add the filling in the middle of wrapper, fold the wrapper over the top and bottom then fold the left side and then the right side and roll it up to form a tube. Repeat until all the wrappers are finished.
• Heat oil in a pot, Dip the roll in the dipping batter prepared previously and drop it in the oil. Deep fry until it becomes golden brown.
• Drain them over kitchen towel to absorb the oil.
• Delicious chicken roll is ready to serve! Serve with fresh green bird's eye chilis or chilli sauce.
