In 2013 Dan Slott took the biggest risk in his entire Spider-Man run: Replacing Peter Parker with Doc Ock. Labelled as a gimmick by many, the Superior Spider-Man somehow managed to stand apart from the rest of his run and is labelled as one of the best Spider-Man stories since its released.

Yet with the benefit of hindsight now that it's been 10 years since it's release, and with the upcoming Omnibus bringing new eyes to the series, how well does this unique time for the wall crawler hold up today?
