I’ve been growing peas for many years in my garden and other than a delicious vegetable, they produce beautiful flowers that attracts pollinators and predatory insects.
You can grow peas in your garden, balcony, patio or even indoor for some super sweet microgreens!
The plants are super productive and peas could be consumed fresh but also stored frozen, Dehydrated or fermented. Also, you could grow them just for the micro shots which are super sweet!
They are a really good companion plant for most vegetables in the garden as they are nitrogen fixer. They accumulate nitrogen in nodules at the root level and once you cut the plant, they slowly release it in the soil so other plants can benefit from using it.
