Australian’s Mt. Gellibrand wind farm (132 MW of capacity) is located in the state of Victoria, and is scheduled for completion in August 2018. The forty-four Nordex AW125/3000 wind turbines will produce enough clean energy to power approximately 60,000 Australian homes, and will in turn avoid emitting more than 412,000 tonnes of CO2 to the atmosphere that would typically be generated using coal-fired power stations.
