Cracking the Top 10 of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll last year, Timmy Trumpet is a supernova within the scene having released on the likes of Spinnin’, his own imprint SINPHONY and as a member of the Smash The House family that continually brings the goods, he now returns to Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s label alongside Vini Vici and Omiki for ‘Far From Home’.

Vini Vici are also a core part of the team since joining with their ALTEZA offshoot late-2019, going on to release tracks including ‘Untz Untz’ and ‘Get In Trouble’, as they welcome in multi-million streamed Brazilian producer Omiki as an exciting, introductory addition to the collective. ‘Far From Home’ initiates with a repeating topline of “I feel it in my bones/ that you’re far from home”, set against a backdrop of genteel keys before an atmospheric, simplistic melody adds emotion when merged with a message of spinning out and feeling lost and found. In typical fashion of all three artists bringing an unexpected twist, the track amps up the pace and lunges into a bombastic onslaught of hammering drums, thwacking bass that pummels, and a synthline melody that brings it back to the big-room, the artists manage to channel the raw the energy felt throughout the drop.
