Ah, the dreaded StrongFirst snatch test.
For those who aren't familiar, it is 100 reps in 5 minutes or less with 24 kg (53 lbs) for gents, 16 kg (35 lbs) for ladies. And for those who ARE familiar, it strikes needless fear into the hearts of many of even the most seasoned kettlebell instructors out there.
Yet truth be told, if you train intelligently - building up your strength in the foundational and intermediate kettlebell moves and learn how to snatch heavier and with better technique - with time that 100 reps go from seemingly like a ferocious lion all the way down to being a harmless kitten.
I've written a few articles on the subject which you can easily track down, but before you even think about tackling this bear of a test, you are most certainly gonna wanna get your general strength, stamina, and physical coordination up to snuff.
