"We could have died there," says Ali, 17, as he recounts why he and his younger brother Ahmad, 15, left their home in Syria.
The two brothers made the perilous journey to Germany where they were welcomed into a children's home. "Our parents raised him and took care of him but now I'm the one who has to look after him," adds Ali.
