Today I got a question about how well an Isolate-based computing platform (Cloudflare Workers) scales with concurrent requests. Rather than talk about it, I thought it would be fun to show it. In the process I got to write the first function which will handle more than one hundred thousand requests per second of my life!
As always this is about demonstrating just how powerful Isolates are, and why I believe they will make up a huge part of how programming works in the near future. Don't have any idea what Isolates are? Check out this introduction: [ Ссылка ]
Disclaimer: I work at Cloudflare, take everything I say with a grain of salt. What you see here is likely true of any Isolate-based computing platform which is deployed widely enough.
