A 35-year-old man has appeared in the Wynberg Magistrate's Court in connection with the rape of a UCT student at Rhodes Memorial in November last year. He faces charges of rape, kidnapping and armed robbery. Police are investigating the possibility that he could be linked to other rape cases in the area. Four young students have fallen prey to a man who attacks, robs and rapes his victims before releasing them.
