Okay, I'm on the final Columbus Zoo Part One (and a half) video, and this one features the Asia Quest.
Asia Quest is where you can find animals indigenous to Asia, particularly China, Vietnam, India, Nepal and other areas of the region. Here you'll find types of monkeys, sloth bears, huge bats, elephants, tigers, red pandas, Pallas cats and much more.
You'll also learn about the species of tigers that have sadly, went extinct. The importance of protecting the remaining species of animals cannot be overstated.
I am hoping that I can get to the zoo in the next week so I can do the second half of my Columbus Zoo videos, focusing on the Congo, Australia and Dinosaur Island. One of the gorillas had a baby a few weeks ago, and I am hoping against hope that I can get a video of mother and child, providing she will allow it to be seen.
I am also wanting to go back to Asia Quest, because after I shot this video one of the Pallas cats had a litter of kittens. I am hoping that they will be running around the area they are in, and I can get video of the little ones :)
If I am successful, I will likely start uploading those in the next week or so. This is going to be a busy week, what with Greek festival beginning at the Greek Orthodox Church this coming Friday (and lasting all Labor Day weekend), a concert with a couple of tribute bands (mind you, the last video I did like that, from the Ohio State Fair, got taken down by the copyright police, so that's still iffy), an 1860s-style baseball game on Saturday and possibly the Zoo video so yeah, busy.
But there will be plenty of content, that's for sure :) And as always, Thanks for Watching!
